The Weekly Poll: Favorite Hawaiian Island?
August 24, 2008In this week’s poll, I’m interested in finding out what Hawaiian Island is the favorite amongst the Kam Family Blog readers. In my line of work doing PR for the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau (HVCB), the same question comes up time and time again – What’s the best island to visit?
My response is that it really depends on what you’re looking to do because each of the major islands – Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, and Hawaii’s Big Island – are very unique and offer different experiences.
Which island is your favorite and why? Weigh in and let everyone know.

I’ve only been to three: Oahu (very, very fun), Maui (gorgeous, great vibe), Kauai (totally my favorite as of now, it’s so laid back and pretty and the people are awesome.
My favorite is my home island of Kauai, of course. Nice to see it’s got the lead in your poll! Definitely the most beautiful of the islands, and if you want a relaxing getaway, there’s no place better.
i’ve been to two..oahu and kauai..i love oahu because it fun and nightlife is great, but kauai is much beautiful!
