Our day started out with a cool drive down to Kailua around 10:30 a.m. Ensen (12 weeks) almost made it down to Kailua without a peep…almost. He started crying once we hit the Pali golf course. But that’s pretty good considering he was by himself the whole ride.
Our first destination was Great Grandma Watai’s house. He was happy to see her and she was soooooo happy to see him. Can’t you tell by the picture above? We had an early lunch and just hung out. Ensen even took a little nap. I’m still not sure how he was able to catch some Z’s. Did I mention it was really really hot?
Our second destination was Grandpa Watai’s house…another very hot location. So hot that we put a wet washcloth on Ensen’s head. I think it helped because he caught some Z’s there too.
At about 3:30 p.m., it was time to go home. We had a pretty good drive. Ensen cried a little, but before I knew it, he was sound asleep. As soon as we got home, we quickly made it upstairs, turned the air conditioner on, and didn’t leave the room all night.
I wish we lived in an air conditioned bubble.
