USAF Thunderbirds come to Hawaii

The last time the USAF Thunderbirds came to Hawaii was 10 years ago. So when I learned that they were coming to Hawaii, I was so excited to find out that my sister Kim had the day off on their practice day. We (Ensen, Kim and I) started the day early, leaving home at 8 a.m. We originally planned to park at Ala Moana Center near Macy’s, but at the last minuted decided to check out Ala Moana Beach Park. It was a good thing we went when we did. There was lots of parking and the view from the park was spectacular! I held Ensen for most of the show and can you believe he fell asleep? He always amazes me.

The video below doesn’t do the Thunderbirds justice, but it gives you an idea of how powerful their jets are. And where else can you see jets flying over coconut trees?
