Last weekend our friends Cori and Kevin tied the knot at Luana Hills Country Club, which is one of the most spectacular golf courses and settings anywhere in Hawaii (in my humble opinion). Just look at the photo above. Doesn’t it remind you of Jurassic Park in some ways without all the dinosaurs? But I digress.

It was a beautiful ceremony on the lawn overlooking the golf course. The Koolau Mountains beckoning in the background only made the ambiance more amazing. Cori looked beautiful in her wedding dress and Kevin was calm, cool, and collected as usual. We wish them congratulations and nothing but happiness and fun as husband and wife.

I should also mention that our Canon SD750 went missing this weekend just in time for the wedding. So without our trusty camera, I had nothing but my iPhone to use to capture the moments for our family photo album. Luckily, the iPhone camera kicks butt as evidenced by all the photos in this post.

I took more than 50 photos that day, but this photo of Ensen and Kelly (above) was by far my favorite. Thank you iPhone and thank you weather for holding up.

A Maui Blog: Thanks for the kind words about our son. He’s quite a bundle of joy. We have family on Maui too and visit often. Hope all is well on the Valley Isle.

Fran: Geralyn takes wonderful photos. She was the photographer at our other friends wedding too! It’s one thing to have a great setting, but it’s another for someone to take advantage of that with amazing photos. Can’t wait to see how here pics came out this time.
