These boots were made for walking

Today Ensen received a very special delivery from Kona Grandma in the mail. Inside the box was a pair of ultra cool dinosaur rubber boots and a wooden step stool for him to use in the bathroom and kitchen. The reason it was so special is because this is his first pair of rubber boots. You know, the kind that everyone had as a kid and made your feet extra stinky after a long day playing in them! I think it’s a prerequisite as a child to have these adorn your feet before you get too old. πŸ˜‰ And the wooden step stool will come in handy as Ensen continues climbing and exploring places around the condo he’s not supposed to (thanks mom! <— said in a sarcastic voice).

In all seriousness, Ensen sends a big “mahalo” to you – Kona Grandma – for the very special gifts and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Lyanne, thankfully he doesn’t wear them yet with regularity so the stinky feet syndrome has not hit. πŸ˜‰

I love those boots! Ensen is Sooooo adorable!!!! I love that little cheezy face!! πŸ™‚

    I love his smile!

You know, in the UK they invented similar boots but they are scented…so you supposedly don’t have to worry too much about the toejams. The brand of boots are called “Smell Wellies.” Cute no?

My kids loved their rubber boots! Every Hawaii kid ought to have one πŸ™‚

Can you son get any cuter? Too cute!

Ensen is so cute! My boys lived in those rubber boots. Whatever you do, don’t smell them. Trust me, you’ll die! We tried everything to get the smell out including Clorox but nothing works.
Forgot to mention great post. Looking forward to seeing your next post!
