Not so Little E turning the big 3!

Hard to believe Ensen (aka “Little E”) turns 3-years-old tomorrow, June 12. Where does the time go? He’s growing up to be quite a smart kid and a caring big brother. In advance of his small birthday party tomorrow, we decided to let him open on present…and body did he love it! A 25th anniversary replica of the original Transformers Optimus Prime.

His fascination with Transformers also escalated this year when his Kona Grandma brought my original Optimus Prime and Megatron toys a few months ago. He couldn’t get enough of it. But as my pal Tino Valdez quickly pointed out to me one day after posting a picture of Ensen with the originals, he said “dude, those aren’t toys, those are collectables. Put those away and get him the replica” Good advice Tino! So we did…but not before Ensen managed to break the arm off my Megatron. 😦

But all is good now. And thanks to Amazon.com, Little E is on his way to a big birthday weekend. If have a feeling we haven’t seen the last Transformers toy yet.

Happy Birthday Big E. Mommy, Daddy, and Avery love you!

  1. Hello,
All things is very nice about kids feelings.
    Thank you.

  2. Ryan says:

Happy birthday, E! Wow. I cherished my Transformers when I was a kid. Sadly, they were all evicted after a lead paint scare. Is it wrong to miss those old Chinese-made die-cast metal toys… even if they’re toxic?

    • Nathan says:

What? Lead paint scare? Did I forget an important recall/memo? But to answer your question Ryan, it’s perfectly okay to miss them even if they could have killed you. 🙂
