Our family’s latest obsession is this incredible Zoku Popsicle maker. It was a gift from a friend that sat in the closet for a few months until we finally got smart and started using it. Now we can’t stop making fresh fruit pops that Ensen and Avery love.

How does it work? You freeze the unit for 24 hours. Take it out and pour your favorite popsicle mix into the molds. In just 7-9 minutes…BOOM…you have perfect cold treat that’s fresh and delicious. One freezing makes up to 9 pops.

On our first run, we blended fresh strawberries with a little lemon juice, li hing mui powder, water as a touch of sugar. Kids loved it!

For the next try, we squeezed fresh tangerines and added a little sugar. That’s it and the kids loved that too!

So the question I’ve been asked a ton is whether this Zoku is worth the $49.99 price tag. In short, I believe it is. It enables you to have a little fun in the kitchen with the family while creating fresh, flavorful and healthy snacks for the kids. And in short time.

Can you achieve the same results using other popsicle molds and freezing them overnight in the freezer? Probably. But what fun is that? 😉

Happy popsicle making!!
